Nozay is a commune of the Essonne département, in France. It is located 26 km (16.2 mi) from Paris (south west).

As le citu of La Ville-du-Bois, Nozay was a part of the city of Marcoussis in the Middle Ages.

At the 1999 census, the population was 4,275. The estimate for 2004 was 4,732.
Inhabitants of Nozay are known as Nozéens.
