[edit] History
Until the first live show, Episode 90, which aired August 24, 2007 [6], the show was recorded by the hosts on Saturday and posted the following Tuesday.
A number of special shows have been produced, such as the two-part LostCast, a 24 Season 5 compilation, and a live “Oscar Party” show [7].
Nowhere in Mulberry was nominated for a Podcast Award in the Entertainment category in 2007. The results of the awards voting were made light of in subsequent episodes.
An additional Mulberry program, The Lunchtime Show, was launched September 17, 2007. Broadcast live on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from the "food court," hosted by the Jastrom and Bill, it features a more freeform vibe, enhanced by constant background music and simulated crowd ambiance [8].
Lost in Mulberry is a spin-off podcast produced by Mick McArt and Jim "Creeto" Lewis, a fictitious sci-fi/horror/action yarn dealing with a zombie outbreak in the town of Mulberry, a running joke in many of the original Nowhere in Mulberry podcasts [9].
Due to the "slow death" of their own show forum, in June of 2007 Nowhere in Mulberry moved its discussion area to the community of its podcasting partners, The Hollywood Saloon [10]. The show's announcements and feedback threads are now hosted in its own subforum.
