It was a reggae-disco hit for the reggae band Third World. The single was released in 1978 by Island Records and peaked at #47 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was later covered by Heavy D & the Boyz in 1991 and became an international hit, reaching #2 on the UK Singles Chart and #11 on the Billboard Hot 100.
