- This article describes the 21st album in the U.S. Now! series. It should not be confused with identically-numbered albums from other Now! series. For more information, see Now That's What I Call Music! 21 and List of Now That's What I Call Music! albums.
Now That's What I Call Music! 21 was released on April 4, 2006. The album is the 21st edition of the (US) Now! series. It was the first Now! album to be fully available for download on iTunes.[citation needed] The album was originally slated for release on March 7 of the same year, but it was decided to release it in April to not conflict with sales for Now That's What I Call Music! Number 1's.[citation needed]
Now! 21 peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200[1] and has been certified Platinum[2]. It features three Billboard Hot 100 #1 hits: "Don't Forget About Us", "Grillz" and "Run It!". The design of the cover is similar to that of Now 62 from the UK Now! series.
