Now That's What I Call Music! 17 was released on November 2, 2004. The album is the 17th edition of the (US) Now! series. It debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, becoming the second consecutive #1 in the series and the sixth overall[1].
Now! 17 has been certified 3x platinum[2] and features two Billboard Hot 100 #1 hits, "Lean Back" and "Goodies". The design of the cover is similar to that of Now 56 from the UK Now! series.
