NOW Peterborough

NOW Peterborough is a local commercial digital radio multiplex in the United Kingdom, which serves Peterborough and the surrounding area. NOW Peterborough is transmitted on frequency block 12D 229.072 MHz from trasmitters at Huntingdon (Hitchingbrooke Hospital), Peterborough and Stamford. It launched in November 2002 and is operated by NOW Digital who are owned by GCap Media. NOW Digital were awarded the licence on November 9 2001, with broadcasts expecting to commence in August 2002. There was only one application for the licence (closing date September 11 2001). There were possibilities of further transmitters at Holbeach and St Neots.
