[edit] Answer
Listen, buddy, why don't you go back to your Villanova games and lightboards and leave the editing to others.--Fxyguy 02:23, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Pennbrook
Wikipedia has strict rules on article content: for one thing, a food fight is an unreferenced, unnecessary piece of information that is really not needed in the article. Secondly, the school may have a theater, but unless it's really, really famous for something, it needn't be mentioned in the article. These sections will continue to be removed either by me or another user because they do not meet Wikipedia's standards for articles. Thanks. --Captain Wikify Argh! 18:03, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
- It doesn't matter what the students think; no one owns their own Wikipedia article. Everything that's here must follow the Manual of Style. The food fight may have happened and it may have been a big deal, but it is non notable and therefore should not be included in the article. The theater was removed by the same logic: because it is not a famous (or notable) organization, it cannot be in the article. Articles need to be concise and only contain necessary information. --Captain Wikify Argh! 18:15, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
- I can say it's non notable because of years of experience. There is not a single article on Wikipedia about a specific school that contains a section on a food fight. The reason for this is because food fights are non notable. As far as references are concerned, I have not given you instructions because it's not necessary. I could reference an article about myself, but that certainly doesn't make me notable. You don't need references because you don't need the section in the first place. Also, please watch your tone when typing replies - I don't appreciate snide comments and talking in such a way certainly won't help you. --Captain Wikify Argh! 18:25, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] How To
How Do i source it then?Novanut35 19:16, 8 June 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Novanut35 (talk • contribs)
- To add a source to the article Pennbrook Middle School, you could use a newspaper or any reliable source. If you find a source, paste it in the talk page and I will insert it into the article. Hope this helps. --Tom 19:18, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
The problem is, there is no source. I am it, it was a first hand account, and I know that it may not be there for it. I read other articles that didnt seem like it had sources either, so whats with them?—Preceding unsigned comment added by Novanut35 (talk • contribs)
- Novanut, if there is no source for the material, it should not be added, period. I agree that there is ALOT of material that is not properly sourced, but that material can be removed as well as far as I am concerned. This project is about gathering material that is ALREADY established. What you are reporting is original research and should not be included. Also, please sign your posts with four(4) tildes (~). Thanks! --Tom 19:29, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
Ok, can i source it myself. ANother user said you could. Can I do that, or have a peer source it?—Preceding unsigned comment added by Novanut35 (talk • contribs)
- No, you can't source it yourself. That other user was incorrect if he told you that. Please read the links I provided above and PLEASE sign your posts with 4 of these ~. Thanks, --Tom 19:36, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
Source=www.npenn.orgNovanut35 19:38, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
- Thats a link to the NorthPenn school district?? Does it mention the food fight? --Tom 19:39, 8 June 2007 (UTC)ps, thanks for signing your post :)
- I couldn't find anything. Nevertheless, when someone says, "Source it yourself," it does not mean to write down your own account as a source - it means to find a reliable source to substantiate your claims. The paragraph at the moment could well be false and it could put the school in an undeserved bad light. x42bn6 Talk Mess 20:18, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors.
I'd also highly suggest laying off the personal attacks at User talk:Spica. Thanks. Tony Fox (arf!) 20:24, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Lincoln Financial Field references
I noticed that you had said that you had the links for information that you had put down in the article. If you can, go ahead and add the <ref>link in here</ref>. I do belive what you have put down, as I have read about the stuff, but it would be helpful if you provide links for references. Thanks :) Whammies Were Here 08:31, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- Even if the links are to pages that you have to pay to see news from the past, its perfectly acceptable to use them as references. There are pages all over wikipedia where that is the situation with a reference, so if you have those links, go right ahead and put them on too.
- Also, if you do reply, reply on my talk page, but dont worry, im not mad at you for it. I will warn you in advance though, some editors though can be a bit protective of their main pages. But as I said, Im not mad over it. Whammies Were Here 11:38, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
