[edit] Write this

If anyone learned anything from the votes below, it's that someone has to write this article or it will cease to exist. Right now it's just a discussion page pretending to be an article. Someone write about notable alumni, the actual size of the school and its piggyback school, and get write that football paragraph or delete it. --Mrcolj 14:23, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

Just copy any high school's template. Should only take you an hour to get it going. --Mrcolj 14:27, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Deletion Votes

from VfD:

Not notable. Sander123 09:41, 13 Dec 2004 (UTC)

• Please have a new look at the page Novato High School, I added a lot of information today and made it into a real article. It could surely still need some TLC, but I believe it is a major improvement, and I hope that some of you will reconsider your votes based on this. Houshuang 18:31, 15 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• Keep. Notable and encyclopedic. GRider\talk 16:52, 13 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• DELETE How is it notable? It doesn't even have a proper website. (under construction???) 132.205.15.43 18:01, 13 Dec 2004 (UTC) (anonymous vote)

* If they provided information to make it a sub instead of a substub, I would vote keep. AS it is, it is rather useless. Houshuang 18:32, 13 Dec 2004 (UTC) Keep. Houshuang 20:20, 15 Dec 2004 (UTC)

• Delete, just another high school. --fvw* 18:36, 2004 Dec 13 (UTC)
• Keep. Schools are inheritantly notable. --Andylkl 19:22, 13 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• Delete: This vote contains more words than the "article" does. It is a predicate nominative and a link. No notability or identity established. Geogre 19:24, 13 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• Delete. Removing everything not immediately obvious from the title, we are left with the fact that it is in California and an external link. Ливай | 20:48, 13 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• Weak keep. The listing on VfD was premature in this case, the article was just started TODAY. It's a stub and marked as such. —RaD Man (talk) 22:18, 13 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• Changing vote to an extreme keep in light of the new content added to this article. —RaD Man (talk) 03:16, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)

*Speedy delete. It's a useless, one-sentence placeholder for a half-dead weblink and absolutely nothing else in terms of content. Calling it a predicate nominative is paying it a compliment. - Lucky 6.9 22:43, 13 Dec 2004 (UTC)

• Delete unless notability demonstrated in a revised article. -- Jmabel | Talk 01:00, Dec 14, 2004 (UTC)
• Delete. Lots of towns have high schools. Gsd97jks 03:01, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• User:Dr Zen/keepschoolsDr Zen 03:13, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• Delete - schools are not inherently notable, this article says almost nothing. -- Cyrius| 06:52, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• Delete; I might vote keep if it has a few thousand students—I'd say that would qualify as a notable institution—but this has no info on the number of students or the school's age. Everyking 09:59, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• Delete. Irrelevant. -- GWO
• Delete. Few schools meet the high bar of notability required to be encyclopedic --Improv 16:57, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• Delete. Notability not established in article. Indrian 06:24, Dec 15, 2004 (UTC)
• Delete. High schools are not a priori notable. --Calton 07:07, 15 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• Keep High schools are a priori notable The Steve 06:22, Dec 16, 2004 (UTC)
• keep Yuckfoo 07:12, 16 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• Super-duper delete. Good to know : a school with students, teachers, and even math, technology AND physical education. I think I could do an article on my school then. Gtabary 10:36, 16 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• Get cracking. —RaD Man (talk) 10:37, 16 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• Radman's right. If there's someone who knows well enough about a school and writes a decent article, it should be kept. --Andylkl 12:17, 16 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• Keep, schools are notable, informative articles about them are useful. Wyss 12:28, 16 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• Delete. Non-notable. --G Rutter 14:55, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• Keep and expand new article. I originally voted "delete" not because it was a school, but a placeholder with a complete lack of content that was probably written by a bored student in the library. IMO, we now have the start of a real encyclopedia article! - Lucky 6.9 20:41, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Keep. School newspaper story helps demonstrate notability. --Goobergunch|? 21:35, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)

• Abstain, due to story about immigration in school newspaper that turned into a minor case touching on freedom of speech . Would be willing to change to "keep" if the article expanded on the case and its repercussions. BanyanTree 21:21, 18 Dec 2004 (UTC)
• Keep - SimonP 01:33, Dec 20, 2004 (UTC)
