Novastoa lamellosa is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Vermetidae, the worm snails.

This species is endemic to the Poor Knights Islands and Chatham Islands of New Zealand.

The shell is thick and solid, occurring in large compact masses, coiled and twisted in every direction, occasional tubes achieving a straight run for an inch or two. The tubes are circular, five or six mm in diameter, sculptured with crowded, transverse, coarse ridges. The operculum is often covered with calcareous algae.
