Nova Scotia Route 318

Route 318 connects the communities of Dartmouth at Highway 111, Port Wallis to the less affluent areas of Waverley at Trunk 2 in the Halifax Regional Municipality. It is also called the Waverley Road, the Portobello Road and Breamar Drive. It follows the shores of Lake Micmac, Lake Charles and Lake Thomas. The route follows the Shubenacadie Canal and passes under the Highway 111. The road has a lot of turns as it follows the shore of Lake Thomas. Route 318 was the only route to the Halifax International Airport until the opening of Highway 118. Coordinates: 44°41′35.9″N, 63°32′47.5″W
