My friend, Edo,MD,PhD, wants to edit the page on reclaimed wastewater. Edo is one of the world's leading scientists in water quality, has represented the US on the environment in Africa, and is currently a consultant to EPA and the wastewater association. He knows nothing about Wikipedia. His edits were rejected because they were too long and improperly referenced. He does not have time to learn the rules of editing and has asked me to help him. THis is ironic, because not only is Wikipedia new to me, I am technically illiterate, and struggling to understand the vocabulary. I have rewritten what he wrote, including the references and want to either resubmit it, or be adopted by someone who can walk me through the system. I do not know how to put my changes on the page, and to use headers. Please advise me. helpmeNotindustry (talk) 11:38, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 19:04, 30 April 2008 (UTC) adoptmeMay 10.

Hello, you used the {{helpme}} tag. How may I help you? When you've asked your question, please put the tag back so we know to check back. Alternatively, you can join the #wikipedia-en-help IRC channel to get real-time help. (Click here for instant access.) Stwalkerstertalk ] 20:42, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

I was able to do my edits. Now I would like advice on creating links between articles. helpmeNotindustry (talk) 15:11, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi Notindustry. I was just fixing some templates, doing some non-controversial cleanup. Is there something you found wrong with my edits? Thanks, PeterSymonds (talk) 11:37, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Of course you can; always happy to help. :) And it sounds like you've got a good project running there. Anything you need, just give me a shout. Best, PeterSymonds (talk) 15:11, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
