[edit] Bad faith?

Doesn't this template encourage people to assume bad faith? It may be legitimate to note that there is unreliable and biased content about a subject on the internet and elsewhere, but if we just ask people to comply with wikipedia's policies, then questioning intent and accusations of propaganda become unnecessary.

As a side note, the apperance of Hitler in the image (of an American poster) may be disruptive - some deniers of Soviet atrocities say that the claims were nazi propaganda, so someone might wrongly interpret the image as accusing them of siding with the nazis. Andjam (talk) 13:09, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
