[edit] Improvement of this article

I will start working in this article with in a few days. I have some important data and historical pictures which might be used in this article. Niaz bd 16:24, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

I hope the images are free to use :) --Ragib 16:29, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
Bhaia, that is one of the major problems at wikipedia. I am so much confused about which one to add and which one not to:-( . I was the chief editor of Dhak-Dhol and Chit-Chat in 2000-2001 and also worked in all the college publications including Blue and Gold and other special magazines. As a result I had the opportunities to access special and historical pictures and articles. I also have some old but special magazines. If I manage official permission to scan and use those magazine's pages/pictures at wikipedia, then can we add them in this article? And, what's the way (according to wikipedia) to get an official/formal permission from an institution or a body? Niaz bd 17:35, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
Get permission to use those photos under a free license (Creative Commons Attribution/Attribution-ShareAlike license, or GFDL). Keep your correspondences with the "official" who gave you the permission ... once you get the permission, you can upload the photos to Wikimedia commons, and use them here.
Note that, any pre-1957 image is in public domain according to Pakistani copyright law. -- —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ragib (talkcontribs) 18:02, 12 April 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Can we put some sources as references?

The article remains completely devoid of sources. Not good at all for an effort ot build an encyclopedia. Can we do something about that? Aditya Kabir 19:45, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notre Dame College

NDC is a college, Not school. The link shows it offers three-year Degree program: Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Pass Course) and Bachelor of Social Sciences (B.S.S. Pass Course). It also affiliated to the National University. So we assume it as a Degree College.--NAHID 07:39, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

Do you have any faintest idea, how small number of students are affiliated with the degree program comparing to the HSC class ? Smilitude (talk) 12:59, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

Doesn't matter, really. It's the official recognition that counts, not the disparity in number of students enrolled into different programs. Cheers. Aditya(talkcontribs) 16:32, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Logo ndc.jpg

Image:Logo ndc.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
