[edit] History
Notre Dame was founded in 1876 by the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia Congregation in Nashville and is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Knoxville. Notre Dame is the oldest still running high school in Chattanooga. In 2001, the school opened a new state-of-the-art library/multimedia center wing. On October 19, 2007 the school began construction on a new athletic complex with planned classrooms for art and dance instruction. The athletic complex is set for completion in Fall 2008.
[edit] Student life
