Notoplax websteri is a very rare species of chiton in the family Acanthochitonidae.

This species is endemic to New Zealand's Three Kings Islands.

This chiton is found at depths of about 170 m.
[edit] Description
This chiton is known only from a few median valves and one presumed tail valve. The median valves are pentagonal, and the dorsal area is wedge-shaped, with deeply incised longitudinal lines and pittings. The lateral areas have small, ovate to triangular pustules, about 13 on each side. The sutural laminae are broad, a wide sinus between them.
Coloration is pale pink, variegated with brown and green.
Median valve height is up to 4 mm, and width up to 5 mm.
