Notocrater is a genus of true deep water limpets, marine gastropod molluscs in the family Lepetidae, true limpets.

This genus is endemic to New Zealand.

Notocrater shells are small, oval, elevated, with a hooked apex near to the anterior end. Sculpture is of oblique radials crossed by concentric grooves.
