Notoacmea daedala is a species of sea snail or true limpet, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Acmaeidae.

This limpet is endemic to the North and South islands of New Zealand.

This species is found under intertidal stones and in rock pools.
[edit] Description
The shell is small, thin, pellucid, oval to elongate-oval, and depressed.
Shell coloration is yellowish to pale green with light brown radiate lines that anastomose, and give an overall netted pattern. The interior has the radiate markings showing through at the edges, the muscle attachment mark on the underside of the shell indistinct, and usually with a smear of greenish or bluish enamel between the it and the margin.
The shell length is up to 7 mm, width 5.5 mm, and height 2 mm.
