Notoacmea badia is a species of sea snail or true limpet, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Acmaeidae.

This limpet is endemic to the Dunedin coast, in the South Island of New Zealand.

This species is found in rock pools, in the lower intertidal zone.
[edit] Description
The shell is rather small, almost circular, and of medium height, the apex near central. The exterior is almost always badly eroded, but apparently without sculpture. The interior is shining dark purplish-brown around the edges, merging into greyish-white within the the muscle attachment mark on the underside of the shell, and irregularly blotched with light brown.
The shell length is up to 10.5 mm, width 9 mm, and height 3.5 mm.
