"Not Now" is a song written by Blink-182 during the recording for their Blink-182 album. An article with Rolling Stone in 2003 states Tom was upset that this song didn't make it on the untitled album but the song appears on the UK release of the untitled album, on the single "I Miss You" and on their greatest hits album. It is also the only single released since the announcement of their current hiatus. The song managed to reach number 18 on the US Modern Rock charts.

According to Tom DeLonge, this song is about somebody speaking to their loved one as they die.

[edit] Video

The music video features clips of the band's past music videos, concerts, and tours. There are two released versions of this video, but the only significant difference between them is that different clips are used.

There is also a third, possibly unofficial, video. This is seen on Australia's Channel [V]. In this version, the video is black and white and is made up of a lot of footage from their performance in the 2000 Big Day Out.

Tom is also known to cover this song during Angels & Airwaves concerts.

At 00:13-00:15 seconds into the song, it sounds as if someone is saying, "Blink, we miss you". It is also said that it is not "Blink" that is said, but rather, "Hey, we miss you".
