[edit] WikiProject:Calendars

Thank you for updating part of WikiProject Calendars
This project is a dynamic one that changes every day. Every day, the highlighted day on the calendar must change. If you have time, please feel free to add holidays and update the highlighted day again in the future.

[edit] VMI peer review

You've made some excellent edits. I have posted the article Virginia Military Institute at Wikipedia:Peer review/Virginia Military Institute/archive1 and would appreciate your comments. Rillian 14:13, 7 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks a ton...

...for the heads-up on DYK. I mistakenly entered it as sueing; it stands corrected now. However, in future, you may want to try Talk:Main Page for such issues as the response is typically faster. --Gurubrahma 16:30, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Feb 30 does not exist

Watch out, that diff may come back and haunt you. People will point to it and laugh at you. February 30 DOES exist, and it's the only reason I remember it. I think Mr. Lamo just does not want it for privacy... but this is an encyclopedia, he is no more entitled to "keep information hidden" than Congress is. I will revert the change one more time and I invite you to research the matter before reverting it again. This is getting old, don't forget your roots Wikipedia:Assume good faith. 68.223.43.236 08:02, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

D'oh! I forgot my birthday again. Oh wait! No I didn't. Whew. Scary time warp there. Thanks, NoSeptember, for the revert.
Adrian Lamo ·· 08:06, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
Ok, Lamo, can you verify that Feb 30 is NOT your birthday... can you just SAY it... and I'll believe it! 68.223.43.236 08:07, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
Ok, i'm an idiot, I meant to write Feb 29. Sorry NS. 68.223.43.236 08:11, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
/me bows to noseptember 68.223.43.236 08:21, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
And you clearly knew it wasn't a leap year *or* my birthday, pal. Let's have that be the end of that, eh?

[edit] Thanks! 1,000,000th article

It is nice that this article was one in a series of articles you were posting over a period of time (as opposed to a mass posting of articles all at once in an attempt to hit the 1,000,000th article). In other words, this is a legitimate work-a-day article, just the type of article that deserves to be highlighted as representative of Wikipedia. Congrats, NoSeptember talk 23:51, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

Many would disagree with you, but it takes all sorts, I guess. Thanks for your encouragement, I truly appreciate it. Nach0king 00:14, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
Incidentally, I saw your comment about the dollar someone left me. Very droll :) but at least he didn't leave "bronze coins". Nach0king 09:50, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding the editor review page

Hi, I'm Evan Robidoux. I noticed that you linked my editor review section to a different page but I still want to be reviewed. Am I allowed to put it back or is it OK if others review me on that page instead? --Evan Robidoux 23:23, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Editor review maintenence (Evan Robidoux)

The list for the editor review is getting extremely unmanageable. I want to try to maintain it so it doesn't get any longer. I noticed that some users' requests were detranscluded/archived/etc.. But would it be a bad idea to archive requests without the users permission (even though it is for the most part an inactive request?)

[edit] Lake Needwood

I'm not sure about previous evacuations since I've only lived in the area a few years, but I'll try to find out some information within the next few days. I live within walking distance of the lake (thankfully not to the south!) so whatever I can find out might be useful. I'm also adding a picture I took. Thanks for starting the article!--Stainedglasscurtain 08:17, 29 June 2006 (UTC)Stainedglasscurtain

[edit] San Francisco, California article (Paul.h)

Hi, another editor and I have put in some mega-hours over the last two weeks trying to knock the SF article into shape for a Feature Article nomination. Would you mind looking at it? Also, the current editors are a bit cross-eyed and could use some recommendations for other Wikisouls who might be willing to proofread or copyedit the article. Thanks for any help! --Paul 01:33, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

OK, perhaps tomorrow. I would think those who did other geographic FAs would be good people to ask too. NoSeptember 01:43, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for taking the time to look at the article. Your comments are appreciated. --Paul 15:13, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
You're welcome. NoSeptember 15:17, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
We have re-submitted the article as a FAC. We shall see what other editors think of the effort. Thanks again for taking the time to have a look.--Paul 05:50, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
When I was resubmitting the article as a FAC, I inadvertently created Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/San Francisco, California/archive2. Can you get it deleted? Thank you! --Paul 20:40, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
Another delete request: 14:10, 12 September 2006 Paul.h (Talk | contribs) uploaded "Image:Treasure island aerial.jpg" (The 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition on Treasure Island. Postcard image #6 of 15 by Moulin. Published in 1939, copyright not renewed - image is in the public domain.)
Turns out the copyright WAS renewed & the image is currently protected.--Paul 23:02, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
I have deleted it. NoSeptember 23:15, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
