[edit] Summary

Description

No Surrender depicts the titanic struggle between Gilles Villeneuve and Rene Arnoux for second place at the 1979 French Grand Prix. It is the only well-documented artistic impression known of this unbelievable finish to a race where the actual winner, Jean Pierre - Jabouille, received less attention than the two drivers depicted. The painting is enamel paint on canvas measuring 30" x 40"
