Needs fixing. lots of nonsense. (Space Cadet 22 May 2005)

Somehow the "First Northern War" has been linked here? It might also be linked to Nordic Seven Years' War (which is known as the First Northern War as well (or the Seven Years War in Scandinavia)) (i.e., be a disambiguation page). I don't know how to fix this. Anyone able to help?

And yes, spacecadet is correct - this page requires serious rework. Williamborg 01:41, 30 May 2005 (UTC)
After reading for a few more hours I am convinced that historians have not agreed on a convention for naming wars in northern Europe and that there are multiple "First Northern War"s. POV is truly a heavy issue here - every country views (and names) these wars differently. Probably the only common theme is that the history of Sweden for almost 2 centuries is a history of virtually continuous war - if I their naming wasn't so heavily POV, I'd suggest using it to limit ambiguity. In the interim, I'll continue to look for a possible sorting that makes sense, unless someone comes to the rescue! Williamborg 14:58, 30 May 2005 (UTC)
Good start is to list all English translation of national war names, then chose sth nice :> Wikipedia:Google test may be useful as well, after we know what to look for. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 22:02, 30 May 2005 (UTC)
