- "Margaret's brother, arrives just in time to see his mother on her death-bed" - not sure why there's a comma, were you planning to include his name there?
- "scenes not in the novel" - not sure about the use of the word "scene" here...why not just "something that does not appear in the novel" or something like that, since you're talking about trains.
- Don't regions of London (West London, North London) need a capital W/N as they're proper nouns?
- Perhaps merge the last sentence into the prior paragraphs
- All the BBC award refs need publisher info (as does ref 5)
- BBC shouldn't have italics in ref 6
