Talk:North Devon (UK Parliament constituency)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This should be moved to "North Devon (constituency)" unless there is more than one constituency with this name, to avoid over-disambiguation. Joe D (t) 17:23, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Personally, I agree (indeed that's where I started the article orginally) however I'd rather not have some articles with one type of disambiguation scheme and another set with a different type, therefore I suggest we restart the discussion on the wikiproject. (I still propose the comprimise of (westminster constituency) though) -- Joolz 23:12, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- It's a bit late for that, a lot of articles have already had their disambiguation corrected. Joe D (t) 23:37, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- The thing I don't want to happen is for many different disambiguation schemes to be used. The current one is ugly but the problem with just "(constituency)" is where more than one constituency (for example some scottish constituencies or apparently some Canadian constituencies too) share the same name. -- Joolz 16:16, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)
