They have a notable alumni section on their site. Can someone go through it and find the most notable and put them in the article? I'm not the best of identifying actors and such. Kushboy 04:59, August 9, 2005 (UTC)

I created a list so everybody and their mother can add themselves and nobody can complain about clutter.Eaglecorpse (talk) 19:00, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] "conservatory of the performing arts"

NCSA certainly emphasizes performance, but perhaps it would be better described as a "fine arts" school, as it has an extensive Design & Production school, including an excellent Visual Arts school--neither of which are performing arts! 24.131.4.220 05:05, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

NCSA is first and foremost a conservatory for training performing artists. It was founded in this spirit 41 years ago and continues to this day. Yes, NCSA's D&P Department and its two-year subset Visual Arts program don't fit neatly into this category to many. Design and Production students, while not directly performing for an audience, focus their work on facilitating performances year-round and are inseparable from the performing arts. [edit] Fighting Pickles?

My question is, why would a school bother with a mascot if they don't have an athletic program? Or do they have an athletic program and it's just not mentioned here? Should the mascot part maybe be deleted? *shrugs* --Coryma 15:16, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

We have no athletic program, but are nonetheless very proud of mascot. The Pickle is prominent in school paraphernalia (appearing either with boxing gloves or sword) and our snack bar, the Pickle Jar is named after it. So, in short, the pickle is here to stay.Reich88 00:21, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Facts

Someone should integrate the "Facts" into the article. Wikipedia isn't supposed to have a separate facts or trivia section --Awiseman 15:14, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Took a while, but it's been done away with. Eaglecorpse (talk) 18:32, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] All School Musical

Unless otherwise disputed, I am chaging the all school musical refrence. While the film school is doing...some stuff for the show, projections are being designed and handled through design and production, more specificly the electrics and scenic departments.

[edit] NCSA Page is pretty now

I hope nobody minds, I did my best to make the NCSA page all pretty. I added a university profile box, rewrote some parts about the history, relocated some sections, deleted the trivia page which is discouraged and was outdated anyway, and gave the alumni their own page. Now everybody can add their name in shameless self-promotion and they won't be cluttering up the main page.Eaglecorpse (talk) 21:37, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
