[edit] Off-limits

The Wikipedia article, among many others I've read, mention that island is now "off limits", but nothing beyond that. Does anyone know why? And under whose authority? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Recoil42 (talk • contribs) 15:15, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

The city owns it and is keeping it as a bird sanctuary, therefore it is illegal for anyone to go there.--Carpe Diem (talk) 02:37, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
