Talk:Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
What are cemeteries specially build for dead soldiers called? Soldier cemetery? The English Wikipedia doesn't seem to have an article about that. --Abdull 20:52, 8 August 2005 (UTC)
The page about enclaves talks about the legal status of this territory, but this page does not. I find that curious. - jmr
[edit] Some WWI graves
At least one of the graves in this cemetery (Quentin Roosevelt) was from WWI, not WWII. This contradicts the infobox's claim that all burials were from WWII. Jwillbur 20:40, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
Also there are a few non-US citizens buried here, including a Scotsman and a Mexican. I know this because I've been there, but does anyone have any citations? 80.43.127.237 15:58, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

The article clearly states "American Soldiers" -not "American Citizens". Pyrex238 06:33, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
So the Scotsman would have been in the US Army? I'm not questioning you I'd just like to know ;) 78.146.253.123 21:04, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
