Norwood is a community in Peterborough County, Ontario, Canada. Since it amalgamated with Asphodel Township in 1998, it is now part of the Township of Asphodel-Norwood. The village population is roughly 1300 (as of 2003). Its schools are St.Paul's Catholic Elementary School, Norwood District Public School, Norwood Intermediate Public School, and Norwood District High School. The local post office at 4276 Hwy 7 St. services locals with lock boxes and three rural routes.
