Northwood Hills is a suburb of London in the London Borough of Hillingdon.
Northwood Hills, London, England, is the suburb surrounding Northwood Hills tube station on the Metropolitan line of the London Underground. It is situated in the London Borough of Hillingdon. The main road is Joel Street, and located nearby is Northwood School and Sixth Form. This school was attended by boxer Audley Harrison before he was expelled for fighting.
The Northwood Hills Hotel (as it formally known) opposite the tube station is accredited as the venue of Sir Elton John's first gig. A picture of the pub appears on one of his album covers.
Every May one of the largest Scout Jumble sales in the country is held by 1st Northwood on the land next to their headquarters called the hogs back. The Jumble sale this year is on the 10th May.
