Northwood is a neighborhood in New Castle County, Delaware, United States. It is not recognized as a separate entity by the U.S. Census Bureau.

Northwood is located at 39°47′26″N, 75°30′6″W (Latitude 39.7958 Longitude -75.50278) with an elevation averaging roughly 250ft above sea level.^[1] It is located with Marsh Road, Hayman Place, Lynnfield and Webster Farm on the west, Carrcroft Crest on the south, Winterhaven on the northwest, and Green Acres on the east. Northwood is listed as a place in Delaware.

Northwood residents are part of Brandywine School District. High school students attend Mount Pleasant High School (Delaware).
