Northwich Infirmary

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Northwich Infirmary, known as Victoria Infirmary, is a small hospital located in the town of Northwich, Cheshire, England. Along with Leighton Hospital in Crewe, it forms the Mid Cheshire Hospitals National Health Service Trust.

The Infirmary originally opened in 1887 when a local MP, Robert Verdin, donated his house for use as a hospital. The building today has two inpatient wards and 31 beds. It also benefits from dedicated support services, a Minor Injuries Unit (open between 9am and 10pm), a Therapy Services department and many outpatient services.
