Northland College is a small co-educational Secondary School in Kaikohe. Northland College has a large block of farm land and forestry. The school was opened in 1947 and was originally called the Northland Agricultural and Technical College.

Some famous ex-pupils include All Blacks such as the famous half-back Sid Going and his brother Brian Going, Bevan Holmes, and brothers Fred Woodman and Kawhena Woodman. There have also been a number of well known business men and politicians both in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands who have attended the school. One of the former Principals of the school was the New Zealand First politician Jim Peters.
