Northgate Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in Chattanooga, in suburban Hixson. Opened on March 15, 1972, it was the second mall built in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It was the northside competition to Eastgate Mall.
A new movie theater opened in 2005.[1] A new food court has been proposed to go in where Book Gallery is located, It will be a six-tenant food court at the main entrance to open it in late 2008 or early 2009.[2]
