The northern redbelly dace, Phoxinus eos, is a freshwater cyprinid fish, generally found in lakes and small streams in the northeastern United States and eastern Canada. The fish can reach lengths of up to 5 cm (2 inches). The species hybridises freely with the closely related finescale dace, Phoxinus neogaeus.
