Northern Nomads F.C.

Northern Nomads F.C. was a football club based in England. They won the FA Amateur Cup in 1926. They also reached the 1st round of the FA Cup in 1908. However, they left the Lancashire Combination in 1964 to join the Manchester League. They were founded c.1862, and were nicknamed 'The Nomads' or 'The Roaming Brigade' as they never possessed their own home ground. Late in their history they groundshared at Stalybridge Celtic and Glossop North End. The club folded in 1984.
