Northern Line were a 1990s United Kingdom based boy band, consisting of band members Dan Corsi, Andy Love, Michael Sharpe, Mike Kurtianyk, Zak Lichman and Warren Morris (born 22 October 1975, Cape Town, South Africa). Mike Kurtianyk left the band before they became famous due to differences in the musical direction the band. Mike wanted a more harder urban feel while the rest of the band wanted to concentrate on Pop.

Mike then went onto perform in the 2000 line up of Bucks Fizz featuring original member Bobby G and along with female vocalists Tammy and Heidi.
Following a sell out run at the North Pier in Blackpool, Mike left the music scene and faded into obscurity but revived his career where he is now a successful farmer in Prestwich.

[1] The all-male vocal group were signed with Global Talent (Records) Ltd.,[citation needed] and released three singles charting in the UK Singles Chart; "Run For Your Life" (number 18 in October 1999), "Love On The Northern Line" (number 15 in March 2000) and "All Around The World" (number 27 in June 2000).[2] Northern Line toured England with Steps in 2000, during Steps' 'Steptacular' tour.[3] They were managed by David Forecast for ABC Management in London. [4] Zak "Ziggy" Lichman was a housemate in Series 8 of the TV reality show Big Brother, and finished in fourth place.
