Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art (NGCA) is a contemporary art gallery which focuses on producing exhibitions of new work by emerging and established international artists. Based in Sunderland, England, the main gallery is a 35 x 17m space which is regularly configured for each exhibition, often breaking the large space up into a suite of rooms. Prior to the opening of the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art in Gateshead, NGCA was the largest venue dedicated to contemporary art in the North East of England.
