Northeast High School is most likely named after the old Historic Northeast area of Kansas City. The school is located behind Northeast Middle School. It is truly an exceptional school that is rich with history, tradition, and diversity. The northeast area of Kansas City has always been known for various ethnic groups that have chosen the area as their home. Today, that remains true.
