Northeast Florida Geocachers Association (NEFGA) is a community of Geocachers in and around the twelve Northeastern counties in the State of Florida. The counties included in NEFGA's territory are Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Duval, Flagler, Marion, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns and Union counties.
The mission of NEFGA is to promote the sport of geocaching, educate new and continuing members in the sport and provide fun, creative and educational "event caches". The NEFGA is a central place for the sharing of geocaching-related information for Northeast Florida.
NEFGA was the sponsor of Geowoodstock 3 in 2005. At the time it was the largest gathering of geocachers ever held, worldwide. The Florida Times-Union reported on the influx of geocachers from around the world.
