Northcote City is an Australian football (soccer) club from Thornbury, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The club was formed in 1960 by Greek migrants from Macedonia. This club was first known as Princes Park Hercules during the 1960s-1970s. It also competed in the old Victorian State League and played against Heidelberg United Alexander in 1988 who eventually won the league title in that year. The club only competed in the Victorian Premier League once, in 1991, from which they were relegated.
