Sited in Northampton, Northamptonshire, England and originally known as 'Northampton College of Further Education', Northampton College was merged with Daventry Tertiary College in August 2004. It is now one of the largest general Further Education Colleges in the South Midlands with around 13,000 full-time and part-time students.
Northampton College serves the community and businesses in Northampton, Daventry and nearby towns and villages in the south and west of the county. Its three centres at Booth Lane, Lower Mounts and Daventry enable it to offer a range of full-time and part-time courses across a number of levels, academic subjects and vocational areas. The College is part of the two Learning Partnerships in Northamptonshire and Daventry and works closely with other education providers including Moulton College, The University of Northampton, Tresham Institute, Daventry William Parker and Danetre School. Partnerships have also been established with the Council for Ethnic Minority Communities, the Northamptonshire Chamber and other bodies to provide targeted initiatives for local needs.
