North West Mount Chappell Islet

North West Mount Chappell Islet is a small granite island, with an area of 0.71 ha, in south-eastern Australia. It is part of Tasmania’s Badger Island Group, lying in eastern Bass Strait just west of Flinders and Cape Barren Islands in the Furneaux Group. It is a conservation area.

Recorded breeding seabird and wader species are Little Penguin, Pacific Gull, Silver Gull, Sooty Oystercatcher, Black-faced Cormorant and Caspian Tern.[1]
