North Rauceby is a small village of around 150 residents situated 4 miles north-west of Sleaford in Lincolnshire.
The village is home to Rauceby Primary School which serves this village and the village of South Rauceby although many children travel from the surrounding area to attend this school as there are not enough children in the 2 villages to fill it. . It is in the Local Government District of North Kesteven. It is also home to Cranwell Aviation Centre and The Rauceby Maize maze during the summer months. At the same site as the Aviation Heritage Centre there is a popular touring caravan park that seems to be well used for most of the year. There is no bus service in North Rauceby only for school children during term time. The parish church of St Peters is situated on Church Lane and serves both North and South Rauceby and is in a group of churches in the surrounding villages.
