North Pulaski High School is a public secondary school located in Jacksonville, Arkansas and serving students in grades 9 through 12. North Pulaski is administered by the Pulaski County Special School District. Since 1979, North Pulaski has been accreditated by the North Central Association (NCA) Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (CASI).

[edit] Creative and performing arts

North Pulaski is proud of its marching and concert band, who under the direction of Nancy Karen Dismuke is an 18-time consecutive winner of the Arkansas School Band and Orchestra Association (ASBOA) Sweepstakes Award. In addition, the marching band has been awarded the 1991 Sweepstakes Winner at Worlds of Fun Music Festival in Kansas City, Missouri; the 1994 Best in Class at North American Music Festival in Atlanta, Georgia and the Arkansas representative in the 1997, 2000 and 2003 National Independence Day Parade in Washington, DC. The choral program at North Pulaski continuously scores First Division ratings at evaluative festivals, and places large numbers of students in the Region and State choirs.

The North Pulaski Falcons compete in several interscholastic athletic activities including: football, baseball, basketball (boys and girls), track & field, volleyball (girls), soccer, cheerleading and dance. The 2007-2008 DANCING FALCONS received several awards at the regional dance championship and received two state titles at the UDA STATE Competition; 5A HIGH KICK CHAMPIONS; and 5A MILITARY CHAMPIONS.

[edit] 2002-2005 seasons

The Falcons competed in the AAAA-Southeast (4A Southeast) conference with Oak Grove Hornets, Stuttgart Ricebirds, Monticello Billies, Crossett Eagles, White Hall Bulldogs, and Mills Comets.

[edit] 2006-2007 seasons

Starting in the 2006 season, the Falcons will compete in the AAAAA-East (5A East) Conference. Conference foes are the Batesville Pioneers, Beebe Badgers, Blytheville Chickasaws, Greene County Tech Eagles, Nettleton Raiders, Paragould Rams, and the Wynne Yellow Jackets.

At the 2007 homecoming game against the Greene County Tech Eagles, the Falcon football team snapped its 32-game losing streak it had since September 2004. Also in 2007, the Lady Falcons soccer team won the 5A-East Conference championship.
