The North Line is a planned line of Houston's light rail system, the METRORail. Approximately .5 miles (1 km) of light rail will be extended north from the existing University of Houston–Downtown Station to Burnett Station. The line will then continue northbound on Main to Boundary to Fulton to the Northline Mall Transit Center with a total addition of 5.16 miles (8 km). The following stations are those that have been proposed for the METRORail North Line set to open in 2011.

Construction for the METRO North/Blue Line is scheduled to begin July 2008. Completion is set for 2012.
