North High School is one of 2 public high schools in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. It has a student body of about 1,700 people. North offers a wide variety of courses, including five foreign languages and a good foreign exchange student program. They also offer several Advanced Placement courses as an opportunity for students to earn college credit while in High School.

North has a fairly successful sports program, broken up into three trimesters, Fall, Winter, and Spring. Participation in school sports is high, and North has sent sports team to state competitions several times.

- Sarah Krueger - an American Idol contestant who made it to Hollywood Week.
- Derrick LaPoint - a Hockey player formerly with the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL and currently with the University of North Dakota of the WCHA. He was selected 116th overall by the NHL's Florida Panthers in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
- David Hodorowski - a contestant on the Regis Philbin show Million Dollar Password. Hodoroski was paired with Rosie O'Donnell and Tony Hawk.
