North Glen Elementary School

North Glen Elementary School is an elementary school located in Glen Burnie, Maryland. It is part of the Anne Arundel County Public Schools. North Glen currently serves grades pre-kindergarten to fifth grade.

One of the most notable things about this elementary school is that it is one of the few public schools in the nation that has managed to close the achievement gap between blacks and whites. Third grade proficiency for blacks on the statewide test has rose from 32% in 2003 to 94% in 2005. [1]
