This article is about NCSU'S Centennial Campus. It should not be confused with the NCSU Centennial Biomedical Campus or Centennial Campus Middle School.
Centennial Campus is a technopolis and one of the campuses of North Carolina State University. Situated on 1,334 acres (5.4 km²) in southeastern Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, the campus, currently under development, combines an advanced technological community for the university with government and industrial partner institutions. The campus features residential housing, research and development centers, as well as recreational amenities; a golf course and an Alumni Center are part of the Centennial Campus Master Plan. Situated near the center of the plot is Lake Raleigh.
NCSU's College of Textiles is based on this campus and long-term plans have the majority of the College of Engineering relocating to the new campus. The offices of Red Hat and the Raleigh branch of the National Weather Service also call Centennial Campus home.
