North Bolivar School District

The North Bolivar School District is a public school district based in Shelby, Mississippi (USA).

In addition to Shelby, the district also serves the towns of Alligator and Duncan in northern Bolivar County.

There were a total of 770 students enrolled in the North Bolivar School District during the 2006-2007 school year. The gender makeup of the district was 49% female and 51% male. The racial makeup of the district was 98.96% African American, 0.26% White, and 0.78% Hispanic.[1] All of the district's students were eligible to receive free lunch.[2]
