North Atlantic Refining is a petroleum company based in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The company operates the North Atlantic Refinery in Come By Chance that produces 115,000 barrels of oil per day. The company is one of the biggest employers in the province. Calgary-based Harvest Energy Trust purchased the refinery and related assets for $1.6 billion in August 2006. Swiss-based Vitol SA put the refinery on the market in December 2005.

North Atlantic Refining operates 55 gas stations in Newfoundland and Labrador. Of these, the 39 larger stations are branded North Atlantic and were purchased from Petro-Canada. These stations are involved in North Atlantic's YAY! Card points program and offer a wider range of services than the remaining stations. The 16 smaller stations are branded Home Town and are located in smaller communities, usually off of Newfoundland's main routes.
